2010: FinnWare Under New Ownership

FinnWare, also known as Siskojen Kauppa (The Sisters' Shop), the Astoria store specializing in Scandinavian products and run for the past twenty-two years by sisters Dorothy Smith and Darlene Bjornsgaard of Naselle, has been sold successfully to native-born Astorian and proud Finnish-American, Saara Matthews. "I respect the successful business that Darlene and Dorothy have created," states new owner Mathews. "I think it's a great asset to Astoria. I want to continue their high quality of service."
